June 21st!

Decent amount of Fluke bites this on this mornings trip.  Most of them were short with a keeper here and there coming up.  Today it seemed like the anglers using squid and spearing did do the best.  Only a few were caught on gulps and bucktails.  Pool winner went around 4lbs this morning!  The South wind from Sunday and Monday cooled off the water a bit but the fish are there.  We will give it our best again tomorrow!  The weather is looking great right through the weekend!

Father"s Day Weekend Wrap-Up and Upcoming Schedule!

Fluke fishing has been picky the past few days. With the right conditions, we see some shorts come up along with a keeper here and there. Fish have been caught on gulps and bait. The South wind plauged us this week so I think we should see better life when this wind dies out. The Fluke are there!  It's just a matter it they want to chew or not. We will keep doing our best!

We did pick away at the 2-4lb Blues over the weekend!  All fish were caught on jigs!  We did try bait as well but never caught any on that. Saturday night was the best night!  I read plenty of fish in the area last night so its a start.  We will be back at it next Friday and Saturday night!

Stop by our Facebook page and check out a few photos from the weekend!

TONIGHT'S BOTTOM FISHING TRIP FOR LING AND COD IS CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER!  WE WILL TRY AGAIN NEXT SUNDAY!

June13th Fluke!

Pretty good action on our morning trip for Fluke today!  Some nice size keepers came up and there were a decent amount of shorts to keep you busy. There was a few Sea Bass in the mix as well. I did notice that there were quite a few Sand Eels around today which usually get the Fluke chewing. Joe Pantina from Manalapan NJ took the pool today weighing in at 6lb 14oz and is the leader in our Monthly Pool. Bob Holloway from Bordentown had his limit up to 4lbs!  There were a few other scattered fish around the boat as well. Back at it tomorrow!

Weekend Wrap-Up June 10th and 11th!

Fluke fishing is getting better.  We are starting to see more keepers and shorts come up everday. The morning trips have been better. We are picking a few this afternoon as well. Anglers using gulps and squid/spearing have been doing the best. The water seems to be warming up everyday so we should see more Fluke come up as the week goes on!

Bluefishing was slow for us Saturday night. We did see a few swimming around but never caught any. We wound up anchoring on some rough bottom and picked at some decent size Ling and a few Sea Bass as well. Hopefully a new batch a fish will move in soon.  We started catching the 1-2lbers around this time last year so we will give it our best next weekend!

Stop by our Facebook page and check out a few photos from Saturday!

June 7th and Past 2 Days!

We were out on all of our morning trips the past 3 day but I guess the weather scared anglers off in the afternoons.  Fishing was slow for us.  We do have a hard North tide running down the beach which is making us drift very fast inshore.  We did see a few short Fluke along with a few keeper Sea Bass.  The fish are there but we just need the current to ease up a little bit and I think we should see some more bites like we did over the weekend.

The weather is looking really good for tomorrow and the rest of the weekend.  High in the 90s a few days!  Come on down and join us!
