GREAT LING FISHING TODAY!!!!
Had a small crowd today but the Ling were flying. Most were medium size fish with a few bigger ones in the mix. The average catch was 30-60 Ling with a few anglers with more. We had a couple of anglers using white crabs today also catch a few Blackfish.
Skip Reese of Bordentown was one of them with his limit of Blackfish up to 6lbs and a great catch of Ling (I think he said around 36)!
The weather is shaping up great for both trips tomorrow 8am-2:30pm and Magic Hour from 3pm-9pm!

GOOD LING FISHING TODAY!
We fished two spots in 160-180 ft and picked away at the small to medium size Ling. We also had a good shot at the Mackerel on the first spot. A few anglers put teasers on and banged away.
I tried a smaller spot for the last hour of the trip today and we had a slow pick at the ling but the size was much better.
At the end of the day, everybody had somewhere between 20-35 Ling and a few Macks. Check out the photos under the photo gallery. Its marked February 3rd.
Tomorrow is looking Great!!!

January 28th & 29th
1-28:
Tough conditions for most of the morning. We had a strong tide out of the South and the wind kept changing direction every few minutes which made it hard to sit on any wreck for a while. The first couple of spots produced just a few ling. Once we swung off, the doggies were bad. Around 12pm, the wind came up out of the South, which helped us out a lot. We sat on the last spot for about and hour and a half and had a decent pick of Ling around the boat with a few Blackfish coming over the rail also. Most angler had 10-25 Ling. Kenny Havens of Hoboken, NJ had his limit of Blackfish up to 4lbs. Also Randy Bastista of Carney, NJ had his limit up to 8lbs and took the pool!
The afternoon trip was a little tougher. We started in the deep (225ft) and it was hard to even get your bait to the bottom with the current running the way it was. So we moved into shallower water (140ft), where we had an ok pick around the boat. The current was still there but, it was defiantly more fishable. Most anglers wound up with 10-20 ling. High hook was Bob Clark of Point Pleasant, NJ with 36 Ling. The pool fish was about a 6lb Cod!
1-29:
Today was pretty much the same as yesterday. Again, it was tough to fish in the deep with all of the current we had. A few anglers did fair with the ling while others had a tough time. Dean Castagnola of Ocean, NJ was high hook with 29 ling. Randy Bastista was back out with today and took the pool again with a 4lb Blackfish.
Monday - All Day Blackfish from 7am-5pm! (no reservations required)

August 9
The Fluke fishing has been pretty decent overall the past week. We did have a slow point after a hard Southernly blow on Saturday but, it is starting to pick back up. On both the morning and afternoon trips, we have been seeing a good amount of shorts with some nice keepers mixed in. The monthly pool leader as of now is 9.6lbs. Anglers using bucktails and gulp have been doing the best. August is usually a good month for catching some big Fluke, so come on down and enjoy the fun!
Night Bluefishing has been pretty slow for us the past week, UNTIL LAST NIGHT! It looks like there is a new batch of fishing moving in this way so hopefully it will be good from here on out. Many anglers had there limit of blues with some anglers having less. Most fish ranged in the 6-12lb range. All fish were caught on bunker backs and butterfish (which we supply for you).
For more information, please give us a shout at 732-899-8868 or the NormakIII fishing hotline 732-496-5383.

Fluke fishing has been slow. They have been picking away at them. Lots of shorts, nice size keepers mixed in. Also seeing a variety of Sea Bass and Ling.
As for Blue Fish, they have been hitting hard. Ranging between 7-10 lbs., and almost limiting out.
