Kenneth James Keller 1935-2019

We would give our best day to fish one more day with our beloved friend, father, husband, fishing buddy, brother and legendary Captain Kenneth J. Keller born August 13, 1935.

For those that got the honor to work or meet him, they would all agree he was a memorable, fantastic man and fishermen!

Captain Ken served his country in the United Stated army.  He was married for 53 years to his beloved wife, Norma Kennell Keller and had a daughter, Sharon Keller, and 2 grand children, Maile and Nani, who he absolutely adored!

A Few fun facts about Captain Ken that some might not know:

1.  Captain Ken was a HUGE YANKEES FAN!  For his 80th birthday, Captain Ken got to see Aaron Judge in his rookie debut and got to see the unforgettable home run that he crushed out into Monument Park at Yankee Stadium.  He would never miss a game on TV and loved to talk about them.

2.  Captain Ken loved hot dogs!  I know it is funny to say, but he was very particular on what kind of hot dogs he ate.  "Nothing beats an all beef hot dog!  All those other one's are garbage!" he would say.  During the years on the boat, he bought all different kinds of hot dog machines to try and make the perfect hot dog on the boat.

His life was a blessing!

His memory is a treasure!

He is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure!

Thank you Captain Ken for teaching us all so much.

Norma Keller
1940 - 2020

We come to you with a heavy heart to say the one and only Norma E. Keller has sadly passed away.  She was a true legend to the fishing community along with her husband, Capt. Kenneth J. Keller.  Everyone that has met her can surely attest to her love of her boat and her fond memories of growing up down at the dock in Point Pleasant, N.J, as well as her heart of gold!  She was the type of lady who always took the time to chat and tell you a story of years gone by as well as listening to anything you cared to share with her.

Her life was dedicated to turning the Norma K fleet into something to be proud of.  She is known up and down the east coast as a pillar in the fishing business.  She leaves behind her two beautiful grand daughters, who brought her so much joy, and her daughter Sharon.

We ask in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Norma's name to the Point Pleasant Boro first aid squad.

Next time you have something sweet, whether its a cookie or milkshake, raise it up in remberence of our beloved Norma!  She loved her sweets!!!

We love you and will miss you every day!
